The setup is designed to carry out the test as per IEC 60335-1 and IS 302-1.
It can be performed using either AC or DC voltage, with the choice depending on the specific application and standards, with AC tests being common for evaluating insulation strength and DC tests for measuring insulation resistance. SCR offer this system in various configurations based on your product & applications as per ASTM , UL, IEC standards.





We can customize the product based on Voltage Level & Leakage Milliampere Level so as to suit its testing needs.
In case of routine testing solution employing mechanical test jigs, the number of MCBs (to be tested simultaneously) can be customized as 1, 4 and 20.

The test bench tests the di-electric withstand capability of the product with settable high voltage and allowable leakage current. The voltage set can be ramped up slowly with a settable ramp up time so that the user can exactly find the voltage level at which the insulation breakdown takes place.
As per IEC 60243 and IS 302-1, manufacturers need to test solid insulating material for dielectric breakdown voltage. This checking of strength of solid insulating materials is done as per the utility’s frequency. We have a series of High Voltage Testers right from 10kV to 150kV to carry out this dielectric strength test (Hipot)
The source is designed for the capacity as mentioned in clause 6. The equipment provides an electronic circuit for current sensing & tripping. Various tripping current ranges are provided to protect the sample as well as the equipment. The high potential test system is designed for all the methods of voltage applications (voltage profiles) such as short time test, step by step test, slow rate of rise test etc. – thus it caters to requirements of the ASTM D 149 test standard.

This Programmable Unit has facility to carry-out below test :
a) Manual Mode sudden application of test voltage.
b) Auto Mode ( Programmable Mode – PLC or PC)

PC Based System:

The tester is used to test insulation testing of special purpose cables such as armoured cables. It can also be used for conventional cables. The tests covered are time to track method, initial tracking voltage test and erosion test.
