This is a LabVIEW – PC based Test System for MPCB (Motor Protection Circuit Breakers) This tests 30 MPCBs simultaneously. A Motor Protection Circuit Breaker is supposed to trip when there is overcurrent. This test equipment tests the MPCB for Overload Current Trip.

Custom – Built Test System for MPCB Test System Setup Includes:

  • Stations : 30 total (20 for 0.1A–32A, 10 for 11A–63A)
  • Source 1 : 0.1A–50A, Transformer taps: 60V/50A, 90V/15A, 220V/4A, 400V/2A, 900V/1A
  • CT Range for Source 1 : 0.2A, 0.5A, 1A, 2A, 5A, 10A, 20A, 50A
  • Current Source 2 : 11A–100A, Transformer tap: 40V/100A
  • CT Range Source 2 : 50A, 100A

Features & Specification

  • Variable Current Source : 0.1A to 50A With Following Taps on secondary of power transformer 60V/50A , 90V/15A, 220V/4A, 400V/2A & 900V/1A. The Selection of output taps with contactors.
  • The Current will be kept constant through out the test with the help of Servo Controlled Closest loop system.
  • Each Station will have bypass arrangement with contactors.
  • CT With 0.2A, 0.5A, 1A, 2A, 5A, 10A, 20A & 50A taps to get accurate current measurement, The selection of CT tap will be with contactors.
  • The selection of CT Tap, Output Voltage will be through PC, which will get selected with MPCB rating.
  • Indication of Current, trip time of such station on PC Screen.
  • Input Supply 1Ph. 230VAC 50Hz 16A max
  • Connection of MPCB will be manual by operator. We will provide terminals for MPCB connections & standard Din rail channel for mounting MPCB for testing.
  • LabVIEW based software with SCR’s Ethernet based communication system to control the test parameters & to generate test report in any one approved format.
  • HP / Dell / Lenovo make PC with Windows OS

Controls & Indications

  • Indication of Current, trip time of such station on PC Screen only.
  • MCB for Mains ON and PC Supply.
  • Lamp Indications : Mains ON, 3 Phase Input Supply, PC Supply, Test Over.
  • Push Buttons : Control ON/OFF, Test ON/OFF, Reset, Emergency OFF
  • Calibration Terminals : to verify current measurement with respect to selected CT1 range. CT secondary 1 A as per primary tap selected.
  • Output Terminals will be provide to connect the all poles of MPCB in series with In & out
