PC Based Automatic Safety & Performance Test Panel for Air Conditioner - Single Phase

This SCR  make PC-based automatic test panel is engineered to conduct comprehensive safety and performance evaluations of single-phase AC Air Conditioners in accordance with IS 302-1979 standards. The system integrates microcontroller-based automation for sequential testing, fault annunciation, and manual override capabilities. It broadly consists of testing facilities for following tests:

  • Earth Contact Test
  • High Voltage Test
  • Insulation Test
  • Leakage Current Test
  • Performance Test

Features & Specification

Note

  1. Leakage current Test will be carried along with Performance Test.
  2. All tests will be carried out automatically one by one and if the failure is observed the Test will be terminated and can be proceeded with manual override. In manual mode individual test can be carried out.
  3. The panel is floor-mounted and designed for industrial use, with datalogging capabilities via LabVIEW software for traceability and analysis.

This SCR make  PC-based automatic safety test panel is engineered to perform comprehensive electrical safety and performance tests on air conditioners (both 1-phase and 3-phase condensing units). 

Designed in accordance with IS 302-1979 standards, the system integrates microcontroller-based automation, LabVIEW-powered datalogging, and manual override capabilities for flexible operation. 

All tests are sequenced automatically with safe interlocks and real-time digital monitoring.

The SCR make Jaguar Heat Pump Unit Test Bench is designed for final testing, quality assurance, and compliance verification of air conditioning units. It ensures reliable validation of electrical safety parameters such as earth bond, insulation resistance, high voltage withstand, and earth leakage current. 

Additionally, it evaluates operational performance including current, wattage, RPM, and compressor pressure.

This test bench will have only PC modes of operation. All the tests will be carried out sequentially and the Data will be displayed and stored on PC. Lab VIEW based software and Siemens make PLC as an Interface module will be used to control the whole sequence. Option will be given for selection of test. If in different models of AC Tests are different, then that can be done by selecting the type no. (model) of AC
