It integrates High Voltage (HV) withstand testing, Insulation Resistance (IR) measurement, and Leakage Current evaluation under rated voltage conditions.

The system ensures compliance with safety and performance standards through automated sequencing, precise measurements, and user-friendly operator interface.

Test Sequence

  • Product Setup :
    Place the air purifier in the pneumatic fixture and connect its plug to the output socket.
  • Parameter Configuration :
    Set test durations on the digital timer. Adjust HV voltage via Variac, leakage voltage via pot meter, and set IR and leakage current limits using rotary switches.
  • Initiate Test Sequence : Press the "Test ON" button to begin automated testing.
  • High Voltage Test (HVT) :
    Set Output Voltage: Adjustable from 0 to 3.00kV AC (customizable range).
    Select Trip Current: Rotary switch options – 5, 10, 25, 50, 100mA (customizable thresholds).
    Monitor Leakage Current: Digital mA meter (0–100mA AC). Evaluate Result: LED indicators show Pass/Fail based on trip limit.
  • Insulation Resistance Test (IR) :
    Apply Test Voltage: 500V DC (can be customized to 250V, 1000V, etc.).
    Set Resistance Limit: Selectable – 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 MΩ (customizable).
    Initiate Test: Manual ON/OFF push buttons.
    Read Measurement: Digital display (0–19.99 MΩ, 0.01 MΩ resolution).
    Evaluate Result: OK / NOT OK via indicator lamps.
  • Performance & Leakage Current Test :
    Set AC Voltage: Adjustable from 200V to 270V (customizable range); auto mode maintains ±2V.
    Measure Parameters:
    1. Voltage: 0–300V 2. Current: 0–1.999A 3. Power: 0–1000W
    Monitor Leakage Current: True RMS digital meter (0–1.999mA); trip level adjustable via potentiometer.
    Evaluate Result: LED indicators for leakage Pass/Fail; wattage displayed (not evaluated).

Test Completion :

  • Output switches OFF automatically.
  • Operator removes tested unit and loads the next.
